One final Community Art Exhibit will be on display this Friday March 8 at The Paint Lick Community Arts Center.  An opening reception will be held from 5:30 -8:30 pm with an exhibit of the latest paintings and drawings by Hal Davis’ adult and youth students. Refreshments will be available and live music by the “Flute Trio, Appalachian Aires”  will be provided.This is the FINAL exhibit at the center running through March 24 when the Davis’ plan on closing the doors to the Arts Center.  They are returning to their home in Indiana.   They will be surely be missed in the Paint Lick community.

 

 Plan to attend this opening reception beginning this Friday  as the center will be “open only” on Fridays and Saturdays for the exhibit show.     A Chair Bottom Workshop is scheduled for Mar. 15 at the Center with Instructor Ruth Cross.   From 1–4 pm, you can learn to “cane a chair” . The fee is $25.
